Alan Li has over 15 years of experience in technology businesses and has been an active member of the cryptocurrency community since 2015.
Driven by a passion for technology, Alan started Quantech Co. in 2015. Quantech is one of the first companies in Hong Kong SAR to provide blockchain solutions and has established its presence as a leader in Blockchain and Software services in Asia. The company assists institutions and enterprises in launching products and services with cutting-edge software solutions and technology. Some of his notable clients include FTX, JCI, Kerry Hotel, China Unicom, Hang Seng Indexes, and Grand Hyatt Hotel.
With his zest and expertise in the field, Alan was the first crypto-related person featured in AAstock Hong Kong in September 2017, and he drove the company to be recognized as one of the 10 Fastest Growing Blockchain Solution Providers to Watch in 2019.
Alan further expanded his portfolio of businesses by starting a digital asset brokerage service and cryptocurrency media, among other ventures. His brokerage service completed over 10,000 trades in just one year. In 2020, Alan joined ABCC Digital Assets Exchange as the new CEO, managing an exchange with 400,000 users.
His enthusiasm for blockchain technology also led him to become a founding committee member of the Blockchain Technology Assurance Institution (BTAI), alongside a group of blockchain industry leaders, developers, and legal experts. BTAI’s mission is to promote technology standards and quality assurance for the blockchain industry. As BTAI’s Head of Evaluation and Assessment, Alan assisted the British Standard Institution and BTAI in setting up the Qualified Technology on Blockchain Accreditation (QTBA), a blockchain technology security certification that aims to raise the quality and standards of the industry.
In 2021, Alan was awarded the Rising Star of the Year by Fintech Awards Asia, joining other winners such as FWD Group, Ping An OneConnect Bank, and Airwallex.
